What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

I am a contractor; how do I open an account?

We have a credit application available here. Completing this will be the first step to opening an account.

Do you offer curbside services?

We are pleased to offer convenient delivery options.  Curbside service is available for all call-ahead orders.  Simply give us a few hours to prepare your order and then upon arrival we will have it prepared and ready to load into your vehicle.  For orders exceeding $1,000, we can also arrange for delivery.  Either curbside or delivery can be coordinated through your salesperson or business development representative.

Do you only sell to contractors?

Our greatest area of focus is indeed with contractors – residential, commercial, remodelers, architects, designers and craftsman, but that does not mean we only sell to contractors.  If you are looking for a building material, we’d like to help you find a solution, regardless of your professional designation.

Do I need to make an appointment to make material selections (windows, doors, millwork, hardware, plumbing, etc.)?

Yes.  Appointments are required for material selections, be it windows, doors, decorative hardware and plumbing, or millwork.  This allows us to coordinate the appropriate salesperson and time needed to ensure a productive selection session.  You can request an appointment by selecting this icon on the page:

What information do I need prior to visiting your facility when selecting materials?

We recommend a few things when coming to our facility for a selection session appointment.  Ideally, you would bring plans or drawings of the space you are building.  It is also helpful to have photographs or images of the finished look you are trying to achieve.  Lastly, it is always helpful to have identified a general timeline for your project.  When will construction begin?  Have you already started? By when would you need the materials, etc.?

At what point in the construction process should we involve our contractor sales team at Allen & Allen Co.?

The earlier the better.  We want to bring convenience and confidence to your construction project.  When you partner with us from the beginning of the process, we can best guide you through a selection process that will meet the needs of your schedule and budget.  From the framing package you need to start your project, to the final finish out, we can be a one-stop source for building materials.

Do all items have to be special ordered? How long will it take to get my special order items?

We stock a number of items in lumber and architectural mouldings that can be selected and purchased in the same day.  We also manufacture mouldings and trim to specification.  The time involved with this process will vary depending on the intricacy of your project.  Order lead time ranges from a 2 days to 2 weeks. 

Windows and doors are designed to specification and must be special ordered through one of our reputable manufacturing partners. Lead times for this can be from 4 to 12 weeks.

Decorative hardware and plumbing items are typically special ordered so we can meet your finish and sizing requirements.  Delivery times on these vary from 2 to 12 weeks, depending on the vendor and time of year.

Do you do installations?

Yes, Allen & Allen Co. can assist with installations of architectural hardware that was purchased at Allen & Allen Co.  Window and door installation services available upon request.
